Technology Needs – Chromebooks for Students

All students should have a district issued Chromebook. If your child does not, they will receive one shortly after starting school at Thomas Johnson. Please know that the school does not have an inventory of devices so when a device needs repair or replacement, parents must visit Laptop Services at Baltimore City Public Schools headquarters at 200 E North Avenue.

City Schools has a hotline for students and parents to call for tech support with student devices. Please call the BCPS Information Technology Help Desk for Families: 443-984-2001 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. if you experience any difficulties with district issued devices, with student learning programs, or when logging into and using the various learning platforms and programs.

Students will receive their login information from their homeroom teacher. If the student’s username and password are not working to log into the computer or Clever, please contact the homeroom teacher. ALL student learning programs, can and should be accessed by logging into Clever FIRST – Good Classroom, Zoom, iReady, Amplify, Infinite Campus, etc.
